TRUMP NOT KNOWN FOR MAKING GOOD PERSONAL CHOICES: I truly, TRULY, agree that Trump did not display a lot of success through the people he chose to fill important positions during his presidency. However, Trump is a consummate LEADER. A leader establishes a vision and empowers people to pursue that vision with him. A leader shares power. He delegates and gives them his trust.
Trouble is, Trump was the ONLY.....the SINGLE, the LONE, the SOLITARY....conservative WITH POWER in that SH*T HOLE we call our nation's capitol. Folks, I've served 2 years in the lowest elected position in my township, and I cannot be near those political, heretical, depraved people!! I bust a gut dry-heaving just being in the same room with them!! And, this is little township of under 1,000 people.
Out of the hundreds of elected Republicans surrounding him, Trump tried picking the most conservative, most American, most patriotic, most loyal people he could find. The CREAM OF THE CROP was still as "crooked as a barrel of snakes." (to quote my grandfather).
Finding a true conservative in politics is trying to pick up a turd by the clean end.
I don't compare Trump to Jesus except in this one way: Everybody wants him dead....even the supposed "Good Guys."
From where I sat, I heard them using their forums well. Most were Christians and were all over the Christian talk shows, like Focus on the Family on the national level and many local conservative talk radio shows. I think they were so thoroughly defeated and embarrassed that they considered themselves failures. From my limited research into bullying and abuse, these one-term representatives were classic cases. They spent their entire terms being isolated, shut out (literally locked out of meeting rooms) and and ordered NOT to speak. This, from Republicans! The 'machine' made examples of them; "DO NOT ever do this again!"
