Do they really want to make animals equal to people? Decoded, One Health wants to lower the status of humans - just more evidence that they are all about reducing the importance of human life to nothing more important than a flower or cock roach and this is all about the future plans to euthanize the useless eaters (disabled, elderly, premature babies or whoever they feel has no right to life). Snuff out their life as you would step on a cock roach. I have always said this is the real agenda behind abortion. When you can convince a mother that killing her child in the womb you have destroyed a societies respect for all human life at all stages. The issue is never the issue. ANIMALS EQUAL TO PEOPLE? Any attempt to make an animal equal to mankind is a form of Idolatry.

I cringe when I see people treating pets/animals with as much, or more, sacrificial love than they do people! God created Man to be a little lower than Himself and to have dominion, and rule over, all the creatures of the earth. (Genesis 1:26-28)

It is an extreme perversion of God's design to make an IDOL out of animals by putting them on the same level, morally, as humans. You've seen the bumper stickers: "The more I know of people, the more I love my dog". It is virtuous to adopt a homeless animal, but let the government take care of the orphans! Anything humans love more than God, or His commands, is IDOLATRY.
