"Scorpion:" I, too, am upset by the video. But, the airing of the video has produced a nation of highly polarized 'judges/executioners.' A fair trial, with a neutral jury cannot - NOW - be accomplished. This means the verdict cannot be trusted. My 'spidey senses' are, again tingling; as with the Treyvon Martin, Gentle Giant, etc., stories. There's a flood of one-sided testimony already consuming every American. There is no hope of objectivity or neutrality for the evidences of the case to be examined. These five cops will be perp-walked into the courtroom already convicted. Fellow Americans....this is not the system our founders created. If they are guilty, they deserve the consequences. However, neither you, nor I, know what we do not yet know.
Sorry but there is no excuse for what we see with our own eyes. They beat him to death. An unarmed man that was handcuffed posed no danger to those officers. That group is known for intimidating and harassing people. They are a pack of untrained thugs that thought they were above the law they were hired to enforce. There is nothing that guy could have said or done to explain away what they did to him. When he was almost unconscious they held him up on his feet and continued to beat him. I hope they all get the death penatly but of course they won't. If they were white Memphis would have already been burnt to the ground.
