re getting off of google, remember that google is youtube and gmail too...with youtubes' new censorship rules just issued last week (esp re health topics allowable) the whole lot of it must be abandoned. I welcome it, more time to read.
Yep. Itight be inconvenient but if we have even a tiny chance of beating them we are going to have to make sacrifices. I do not use Gmail. I use a paid email subscription but my phone is Android which is Google. So I have been researching options. I had hoped the founder of GETTR would have Benn successful in his launch of a phone that is not Android or IOS but it never materialized. The search goes on. I am sure there are other options and I am sure to hopefully get some good Intel.
