That piece on the green agenda was amazing! It’s later than most of us realize. Stay strong in Christ!

Karen, you reposted the fake-news article about Fauci allegedly buying a home by 2nd Smartest Guy In The World. It's a fake article because it's completely unsubstantiated, based on "a rumor". i Source News, the originator of the tweet/rumor, claims they cannot divulge the address of Fauci's 'new property' on the Potomac because that would amount to doxxing and would get them in legal trouble. Fine, but tell us the source, show us the documentation, name the real estate agent -- some record of the putative transaction must exist somewhere. No reply from them that I can find anywhere.

2nd Smartest Guy in the World assumes the i Source tweet to be factual and bases his rant on that assumption. The only element in question, according to him, is the price, "rumored" to be $18.9 million. Shoddy journalism.

A commenter added to the tweet: "There is no evidence to support the claim Dr. Fauci bought a new home on the Potomac. The photo above was featured in a June 2022 interview conducted at Fauci's home in D.C. where he has lived since 1977, and was part of a series for The Washington Post Magazine." The deliberately misleading use of the photo casts further doubt on the story.

Seventy-six commenters at 2nd Smartest Guy spewing their hatred of Fauci is understandable. He's a loathesome character and a mass murderer, IMHO. But these diatribes should be based on fact, not unverified tweets.

If anyone has any information to substantiate the original rumor/tweet, please share it. I'm not on Twitter and refuse to join it, so I can't browse through the many comments to the tweet.

Thank you for the "iron sharpens iron" post. Nevertheless, Fauci was either THE, or one of the top, paid fake civil servants in the nation, who did anything but serve.

Your post is important; however, it is also at the same time ultimately irrelevant, as Fauci's salary is public record, and whether he buys a mansion, a yacht, or gold with it is ultimately irrelevant. At the same time, as citizen journalists, we need to fact check each other, so with equal measure, your comment is really important

Thank you, Blaise. Nevertheless, whether the tweet/rumor and the multiple articles it has generated is fact or fiction is not "ultimately irrelevant." Sticking to the facts is highly relevant and essential, otherwise citizen journalists descend to the level of the CIA house-organ The New York Times ("according to reliable sources...", "quoting an unnamed source..." etc). If Fauci wanted to get persnickety like the litigious Robert Malone, and if the Potomac mansion story is hogwash, Fauci could probably sue the websites that carried the story for defamation of character or similar bogus charges. Given Obama/Soetoro's recent announcement about policing the internet and the WEF's stepped-up efforts to do the same, anything is possible. I posted my comment also at 2nd Smartest Guy in the World but so far he ducked and never answered it. I would welcome any corroboration of the original story or actual facts, pro or con.

Natives of yesteryear did tons of forest management and controlled burns. It made for the varied and bountiful the landscape that the 'settlers' thought was 'wild'. You don't keep an ecosystem healthy by ignoring it, you iteract with it and shape it, but also respect and care for it. Say it again, we are PART of nature and we know in our hearts what damage is and isn't. Find the old voice, we are all natives of somewhere.

Karen, I am so glad you shared Jennifer Zeng's video. What a courageous woman! She reminds me of the wonderful people I met in 1984, when I was teaching at Zhejiang Agricultural University. I was very privileged to have interviewed a good half dozen people who were imprisoned during the cultural revolution,. While listening to Jennifer, their soft voices, their strength and deep commitments to their work which got them arrested, completely came back to me. Jennifer--I pray she is well protected.

THEY HAVE NO RULES: The opening comment is powerful. Yet, every American must understand that we have only ONE political party. The republican party is nothing more, nor less, than the moderate wing of the democrat party. In my lifetime, republicans have never failed to support democrat agendas, no matter who was in power. Elected republicans hated Reagan and Trump more than Obama does. You cannot win a football game if you cannot get your own team to run toward the correct goal.
