CONGRESS: I cannot remember the last time Congress was able to put together a budget and pass it. It's always a panic-driven emergency to prevent a catastrophic "Government Shutdown".

Is this the way the budget of our nation is supposed to be managed? Why the heck do Republicans continue to do this? Why do they not appeal to the public to put pressure on the Dems who abuse the process? Why do they NOT flood the conservative media with messaging about the anti-constitutional acts of the Dems?

(Unless, of course, the Republicans LIKE IT this way......hmmmmm)

One of the most distinct characteristics that separate well-run countries from banana republics is that well-run economies have smooth transitions - not roller coaster peaks and valleys.

This is where Congress is, today; they pass a budget nobody can agree on...in a panic...and they always run out of money and must repeat the process. The consistent loser in this is the responsible taxpayer.
