Do we really know who is behind the attack? Pictures of the supposed confessed perps look like it was a coerced confession (doesn't mean it wasn't them, but). The initial claim by ISIS a distraction? Ukraine? NATO/US/CIA? Who knows.

By that comment, I meant that conservatives take our Constitution as written. We aren't constantly picking at the fabric trying to find a loose string we can pull.
YES, we know our constitution. Even BETTER, we know and believe the INTENT - the SPIRIT - of the Constitution.
This is what liberals hate; the spirit within it. They use legal microscopes and public opinion to unravel the legal details to destroy the intent.
BTW...That is also how God inspired His laws. Extremely few were given in excruciating detail to confound the legal mind. They were given so that any judge could determine whether or not the law was being obeyed.
For instance, "love your neighbor as yourself" can be easily determined in a particular situation.
It was the Pharisees and teachers of the law who challenged Jesus on legal terms, and he often replied; "Have you not read...?" "It is written....." or "Know ye not...?"as a reply (displaying their ignorance).
His detractors always used a lesser "rule" to accuse Him, and Jesus always countered with the more perfect Law.
This is why the Jews observing these confrontations remarked that Jesus taught with "greater authority."
The Second Amendment is written in this manner: "...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." It's pretty easy to see when that right is, and is not, being infringed by the Government. That's why we still have the right.....for now.
