JEWEL National Anthem: There are federal guidelines on how/when to display the American Flag, and how it is not to be used in clothing, decorations, etc. The same goes for conduct during the performance of the National Anthem (kneeling is NOT on the list). HOWEVER, I can find no such guidelines on instrumental or vocal performances of our National Anthem, other than the original lyrics and score must be used. It seems the artist has freedom in their interpretation. That means a ten year-old, a retired Veteran, and, yes, even a gross comedian with no singing voice, may perform it. My issue is that, 90% of the time, the PERFORMER is the center of attention, and not the "land of the free and the home of the brave." I remember an interview with a master violinist; he was asked; to what did he attribute his great success? He replied "It took me ten years to master the violin, and it's taken the rest of my life to learn what NOT to play." Jewel and Rosanne would do well to follow that lead!
The boycott thing is reverse psychology. It actually hurts our neighbors and good hard working people that work for these companies. Its baked in our culture( companies). Which is really what they want to erase. Think of the job losses. Truck drivers, cashiers, salesmen, ect. No culture of america, easier to take down. All planned by the UN and others. The higher ups at these companies recieve alot of money to do this. Think DEI and Carbon Credit Scores. They do not care! They have to do it. Maybe a nationwide walkout of jobs? I don't know but this is all fishy as hell. Something to think about.
Nothing worth while is easy. Has one employee of Anheuser Busch been fired? No they have not but the loss in revenue has made them back pedal. That is how boycotts work. The corporations are doing this because of ESG. People should be more concerned about the illegals flooding this country and big corporations hiring them at cheaper wages than what they pay Americans. That is the real threat to our jobs.

Oh yes I heard it but there is no comparison to what Barr did and how Jewel presented the song. Even Whitney Houston changed it up a bit and her rendition was and still today is considered one of the best.
