Yes they absolutely do have the right but for me it is a huge turn off especially for those that have more money than they could ever spend. There are many that charge but free subscribers can still see and read everything they post. There is no need to put part of a post out there and the only way a person can read the rest is to pay. If the work of the author is of value people WILL pay to keep the information flowing.
