Astounding about Norton. Not shocking, just astoundingly ridiculous.

I agree. But I proved it is happening with my subscriber that experienced it. She will be leaving Norton.

Hi Karen- I’m back after switching from Nortons to Surfshark vpn . I can access Substack again. Safeweb (Nortons built in web search) has Roguski’s site marked with phishing warning. I complained but it will need everyone who gets a warning to do some checking and then insist on them fixing it. Thanks for getting the word out….and your great articles.

I had the same problem with Norton and disputed it. I explained that I trusted these sites.. they came came back and said oops.. They have since allowed all my substack.

But if it were truly an ooops why wouldn’t the fix be broad. It appears as if they are reacting only to those that dispute. This tells me it is not an ooops. There are still people not able to access certain Substacks. And how come the oooops were only on certain accounts? Like Dr. Malone and Steve Kirsch (people that have ruffled feathers)? If they fixed their oooops it should have fixed the issue for all of their customers not just those that send a dispute. I cannot buy the oooops excuse. But glad you can get to your favorite Substacks.

Absolutely, couldn't agree more. Good Point! I have to admit I did get nervous after that happened. So one of the things I did was get a subscription to proton email where I receive all my substack messages. It's a private service that comes through Sweden, you've probably heard about these types of services. You can get a free subscription but I like to save my files and the subscription allows for more space. I also use a linux system called Ubantu. Microsoft wants too much control over my laptop and I do not trust Microsoft. My husband was a technician for the Century Link and is very familiar with the latest programs and software. You'll will never hear about a linux system being hacked. Funny thing, the group that started Ubantu hate Bill Gates and Microsoft.

Yes I have heard of protonmail and I have an account but I found they censor big time. I know many people who left protonmail for this very reason. If it works for you that is great. I have been using reagan.com for 10 years and have experienced no censor issues so I will stick with them. It costs $40 per year. I will look into Ubantu. Thanks.

Oh Wow, that is surprising and I will keep my eyes open. Thanks for the info on email service. Wow, ones never knows.

Thank you for the heads-up about Norton, Karen! If it isn't too much trouble, can you see if your subscriber gets a warning for my Substack? I have been increasingly targeted for censorship (e.g., DuckDuckGo completely disappeared all evidence of my Substack, but it has recently reappeared, possibly due a reader submitting a complaint to them).

Your Substack has been rated with a ⚠️ caution; so people can proceed to your site but only after a big yellow caution warning. Blech! I’ll see if I can dispute it.

Wow, thank you for letting me know. This may be why I have been seeing an unusually large number of notifications disabled messages after sending out my newsletters lately. I would be very grateful if you would submit a dispute. We need to fight this censorship at every level. Please keep me posted, and thank you so much, Unreserved!

I tried to submit a dispute but got a refusal message. I’ll do a Celtic sneak attack…ie., wait 5 minutes and try again…and again. And your most welcome. You and all the other writers deserve the effort on my part to try and keep the information flowing. It is my pleasure to help as I can💝
